How to Grant Access to Suppliers?

12.06.2026

Supplier accounts on the platform can be granted specific roles and individual permissions to control what information they can access. By default, a supplier account is assigned the Supplier role automatically, but you can extend their access if needed.

Before You Start

The supplier account must already exist before you can configure its permissions. See How to Create a Supplier if you haven't done this yet.

Go to Settings → Config → Permissions → Suppliers.

Click the supplier's name to open their permissions page.

In the window that opens:

The page has two sections. Roles – preset access templates. The Supplier role is checked by default. You can assign additional roles if the supplier needs access beyond their standard scope. Separate permits – individual permissions that can be added on top of a role. Each permit can be expanded with the + button to see the specific actions it covers. Enable only the permits the supplier needs beyond their assigned role.

Click Update.

The updated permissions take effect immediately. The supplier's current roles and access list are visible on the Suppliers permissions page at a glance, in the Accessible roles and Accessible permissions columns.
