Why do SIDs get moderated, and how to set it up?

12.06.2026

Sender ID moderation lets you control which sender names your clients can use. When it's enabled, a client can't send SMS with a new sender until you approve it. This helps you keep traffic clean and avoid unexpected sender names going out.

Go to Profiles → Clients.

In the Actions column, click the edit icon next to the client:

In the window that opens, find the Dynamic Sender checkbox in the settings block:

By default, Dynamic Sender is checked — meaning the client can send SMS with any sender name freely. Uncheck it to require moderation for every new sender the client tries to use.

Click Save.

From this point on, any new sender the client submits will need your approval before it can be used.

How to Approve or Deny a Sender

Go to Current Traffic → Moderation.

Scroll down to the Senders on moderation section:

For each pending sender, click Approve to allow it or Deny to reject it.

The client will be able to use the sender immediately after you approve it.
