How to Integrate an SMTP Service?

Connecting an SMTP service lets the platform send email notifications — such as pricing updates — directly from your mail account.

Connect SMTP

Go to Settings → Market Place → Applications.

Find your SMTP service (e.g. Gmail) and click the airplane icon to install it.

In the window that opens:

Field

Description

Category

Pre-filled as Notificator. Can be changed if needed.

App

Pre-filled based on the service you selected. Can be changed if needed.

Status

Pre-filled as Enable. Can be changed if needed.

SMTP server

The address of your mail server. For Gmail, enter smtp.gmail.com.

Port

The port used for sending email. For Gmail, enter 587.

Protocol

The security protocol. For Gmail, enter tls.

Login

Your email address.

Password

The password for your email account.

Alias (optional)

The display name shown as the sender in outgoing emails.

Click Save.

The platform works with any SMTP-compatible mail service. OVH and ZOHO have been verified to work — just enter the corresponding server settings for your provider.

Once saved, the platform will use this mail account to send all email notifications.

Verify the Integration

Go to Profiles → Clients.

Click on any client's name.

Open the Destinations tab and find the Prices block.

Click Show all.

On the prices page, click Notify on new prices.

If the integration is set up correctly, a pricing email will arrive in your inbox.
