How to block / unblock a client?

When you need your company to have a new website or if you venture on updating your old webpage with a new There is a function on the GATUM platform that is responsible for soft blocking a client. The blocking is called soft because the client can still create new SMS, but they will not be sent. This is done in order to avoid the loss of the SMS created by the client in the event that an urgent blocking is required. SMS from blocked clients will be expected in the Queue of SMS tab in the admin panel. The functionality of the Queue of SMS tab is described in detail in the Admin panel -> Queue of SMS.

In order to block a client, you need to:

  1. Go to the Profiles -> Clients page in the admin panel.

2. In the line of the client you need, in the Actions block, click on the stop icon. If the current client status is “Unlocked”, the icon will be displayed in blue. If the current status of the client is “Blocked”, the icon will be displayed in red.

3. After you have clicked on the icon and the client is blocked, the message “User (client name) is blocked” will appear in the green field on top.

4. The client is blocked. His messages are queued but not sent.

In order to unblock a client you need to:

  1. Go to the Profiles -> Clients page in the admin panel.
  2. In the line of the client you need, in the Actions block, click on the red stop icon.

3. After you have clicked on the icon and the client is unblocked, at the top, in the green field, the inscription “User (client name) is unblocked” will appear.

4. The client is unlocked. His messages are queued and sent.
